Jones County Courthouse will be closed for the rest of the week 9/24/18-9/28/18. Crews have been working through the weekend to mitigate the damages. This includes the Clerks Office and Register of Deeds.

Replacement FNS benefits for current FNS recipients:
Jones County DSS will begin taking affidavits for replacement FNS benefits on Monday, September 24, 2018 at 9:30 am at Jones County DSS.
Individuals currently receiving FNS benefits have until October 15, 2018 to request Replacement FNS benefits.
You can not apply on-line for Replacement FNS benefits.
Current FNS recipients will not be eligible for DSNAP.
Disaster Food & Nutrition benefits for those NOT currently receiving FNS benefits:
DSNAP (Disaster Food Stamp Program) is not currently available as state officials are working with the USDA to establish the program.
It is anticipated that a beginning date for the DSNAP program will be finalized this week.
Only those NOT currently receiving FNS benefits should apply for the program once it is up and running.
We will notify our citizens when the USDA has approved the DSNAP Program and we have a date.
