Beaufort Beer Festival this weekend to benefit hurricane relief efforts in Eastern NC
Officials with Beaufort Wine & Food have announced that the third annual craft beer festival – BEAUFORT’S BREWIN’ – will go on as planned this weekend, September 28 & 29. The two-day festival has been streamlined to two events – Beaufort’s Brewin’ Pub Crawl and Beer, Bubbles and BBQ. In an unprecedented move, the board of directors decided that the proceeds from this festival will benefit hurricane relief efforts in Eastern North Carolina.
“Beaufort and most of Eastern NC are just starting to heal from the devastation brought on by Hurricane Florence. Beaufort Wine and Food is moving forward with its third annual craft beer festival – BEAUFORT’S BREWIN’ in an effort to raise much needed funds for Hurricane Relief in our beloved community, said Lindsay Parker, Executive Director of Beaufort Wine & Food.
“Please consider supporting this worthy cause. Many in our community did not fare as well as some, and there is still much work that needs to be done. Purchase tickets, sponsor, or volunteer today,” explains Ms. Parker. “It has been amazing to see communities come together and help each other during this time of need,” she said.
